Could it be the Dementors who get Voldie?  I can't remember which 
book it was but Dumbledore says that there are worst things than 
death.  How terrible would it be to be immortal but without your 
soul?  An immortal vegtable, if you will. And the Dementors are 
uncontrollable, Dumbledore says in Prisoner of Azkaban that it is not 
their nature to understand pleading.  Now that Voldie has a bit more 
human blood -Harry's- and he is starting to be sentimental (Voldie's 
own words in the graveyard p646 US paperback GOF)he will have 
emotions the Dementors can feed on!
