For your consideration...

Does anyone remember the Bloody Baron?  When you think of him, does 
his name bring pictures of 'blood' all over him?  Go back and read 
SS - the Bloody Baron has SILVER blood all over him...remind you of 
something? Someone who would take the life of a unicorn lives only a 
half-life?  

What if...things worse than death is becoming a ghost?  We've seen 
Sirius' mum and how horrid she can be - imagine Voldemort and 
useless piece of ectoplasm, possibly at Hogwarts!  That would 
definitely be a fate worse than death...
