Dumbledore regularly attends Quidditch games which are in full 
sunlight, and so does Snape.  However, as with Anne Rice's vampires, 
they can be in sunlight.

But, I highly doubt that DD is a vampire.  And, we later found out 
that Quirrel WASN'T hiding garlic in his turban.  He was hiding LV.
