I'm not sure I believe the foreshadowing teacup theory, but Harry's
metaphor is obvious, he needs to grow bigger (figuratively) and
stronger before he can tackle Voldemort.
On the otherhand, it could just mean that Harry and Ron need to pay
more attention in class and concentrate on their work. If you
remember, they are using the destraction of Charms Class to have a
private conversation about other things, and are therefore distracted
from the charm they are suppose to be doing.
Just a thought.
