Maybe.
He was 11 when he was told the truth, or part of it anyway. He's now
16 and not once has he asked questions or expressed any desire to
know more about the GH incident since the first revelations, though
he obviously feels strongly about it, as evidenced by his initial reaction
to Sirius in the Shrieking Shack. IMO this is partly because everyone
else seems to treat it as a taboo subject, but he must have loads of
questions and no-one to ask.
No, the Dursleys wouldn't take him there, Molly might, depends how
he broached the subject. But I was thinking of all those Christmas
holidays spent moping around the school as a suitable time. I bet
Hagrid would take him with a bit of persuasion.
