One of the most confusing statements in Oop, for me, was when Bellatrix says
that she was busy fighting the Animagus Black. (pg. 812) Well, Blacks
animagus form was a big black dog and we know she was not fighting a big
black dog. So what did she mean by animagus? This started me thinking and
looking. What if Bella new she was not fighting the true Sirius Black but
some animagus *form of Black?

These questions made me think of Siriuss second cousin Tonks who is capable
of changing her appearance at will, a metamorphmagus. (pg. 52) A few of her
statements popped out at me. When Harry asked her if you could learn to be a
metamorphmagus she said that most wizards when they want to change their
appearance need a wand or a potion.

We have seen that Sirius has in the past secretly changed secret keepers,
what if Sirius and Tonks changed without anyone else being told about it.
(history does tend to repeat itself in these books at least once) Tonks just
had to think about what she wanted to change into to become Sirius (and like
Tonks says to Harry, a wizard would need a wand to change) Sirius could
have used a spell to change himself to look like Tonks.
Sirius, being a very accomplished wizard, could have very likely changed his
appearance with a spell.

There were a few things that made me believe this to be true. One example
is: Tonks saying (pg. 54) Nice One, Mad Eye
Sirius used this same phrase again in the death chamber room when he yells
(pg. 803) Nice One! to Harry when Harry used the petrificus totalus on
Dolohov. It just sounded so Tonkslike when I heard Sirius say it.
It seemed strange that when I saw the phrase Nice One (which is not that
big of a phrase) that I immediately remembered that I heard it before and
where I had heard it before. Some speech seems to be almost like a persons
calling card.

The next example was: In the death chamber room when the order first
arrives, (pg. 801) the first person to cast a spell is Tonks seeing Harry in
danger of Malfoy. It seemed to me that the first person to jump to Harrys
defense should have been Sirius. But, if Tonks were Sirius when they were in
the chamber room it would make perfect sense that she was the first to cast
a spell.
Tonks was sent to St. Mungos after the fight at the MoM, so no one would
have yet known if there had been a secret change and Im not so sure Sirius
(now pretending to be Tonks) would tell anyone. This would defiantly be a
good disguise to enable him to leave Grimmald Place.

Something else that was said by Tonks at the train platform at the end of
the book that didnt sound like happy go lucky Tonks (but rather like
something Sirius would have said,) pg. 869 Tonks says Anyway thats not the
pointthe point is, if we find out youve been horrible to Harry
Sounds just like Sirius when he is talking to Snape (pg. 520), Sirius says,
Ill get to the point, thenand If I hear youre using these Occlumency
lessons to give Harry a hard time
The two phrases here although they are not verbatim resemble each other
closely. Thats not the point and Ill get to the point also If you are
horrible to Harry and if you give Harry a hard time. (again it seemed odd
to me that when I read the one phrase it immediately made me think that I
had heard Sirius say something quite similar before).

In the most resent interview with Jkr, someone had asked if Sirius came back
what *form would he be in? Jkr said she couldnt possibly answer that
question for fear of incriminating herself. Incriminate: to provide evidence
of somebodys guilt or make somebody appear guilty of a crime or mistake.

What is she guilty of?

Kathy(snow15145) -who hopes she is guilty of killing Tonks instead of
Sirius.
