I think you are my new hero Kathy!  Ever since Sirius *died* I've 
been desperate for any theory that might make him not *really* dead.  
This is the best one I've heard so far!  I found your arguements and 
evidence very compelling (noting it's not hard to sell me on this 
idea but really, it was good), especially JKR's answer to the 
question of Sirius coming back.  Coupled with the vagueness about how 
he *died* and the veil and everything, I find your theory completely 
plausible and hope against hope that you are right!

Jenjar - who will be desperately combing through OoP for further 
support of this theory...
