Carol, even as I sent my post, I knew you'd come up with quotes to
back up your stand. I concede.
But given that both Fleur and Victor have wands made from a
different maker, I wonder if any of the Hogwarts students bought
wands from a different wand maker? We know that Malfoy was shopping
at Ollivanders.
I agree with you about Ron and Cedric. Perhaps they both
value "fair play."
And although it isn't in this post (not sure if I snipped it or if
it was a different post altogether) I think Tom Riddle and Harry
Potter did have a lot of common traits even before any transference
of powers which would explain why they have brother wands.
