I agree!  If you're looking for another Lupin fan, you've found 
one.  He is one of my favourites. I think he's definitely worth a 
thread all his own.  I think we also see how intensely affected he 
is by Sirius' death in the immediate aftermath:

Lupin turned away from the archway as he spoke.  It sounded as 
though every word was causing him pain.
OoTP, pg 713

This line made ME cry.  I think if anything, Lupin's quite grief got 
to me more than anything else about that scene.
