And in one of my other messages, I explained that maybe she
used "Animagus" as a general term for "shape-shifter", but that's
not the original poster's idea.

The original post was mine and I wish I would have used "shape-shifter" so 
as not to confuse people the way I had in thinking that I meant that Tonks 
was also an animagus. I just meant that as a metamorphmagus Tonks may have 
the ability to take on any appearance she wants at will, including looking 
like Sirius. OoP pg. 52 said that Tonks got top marks in Concealment and 
Disguise...IMO this left it wide open to her possible capabilities as far as 
what she could change herself into. Tonks quotes (same page) "I'm a 
Metamorphmagus...It means I can change my appearance at will." To what 
extent we are not told.

Also, when Bella refers to fighting the Animagus Black, I meant that she may 
have used the term "Animagus" loosly as to mean in some other form that 
appeared to be Sirius.




Kathy-who hopes I am a little clearer on what I originally meant.
