I am a Lupin fan too. He impressed me during his train journey to
Hogwarts and even more so in his first DADA class with the Boggart. I
think that Lupin is one of the few characters in this series to remain
pragmatic and in control of their speech and emotions. Just look back
at the Shrieking Shack scene, and of course the scene after Sirius'
death (as many have pointed out). This quality will be important to
Harry and the Order of the Phoenix in the future when the situation
will undoubtedly become more chaotic, violent and scary. I think that
he will play an important part in books 6 & 7. At least I hope so.:)
