If I've counted correctly, you can mark me down as Lupin Fan #9.  Oh-
-and I think we can add JKR as Lupin Fan #10 [though of course she'd 
really need to be Fan #1], since she's on record as saying Lupin is 
*her* favorite teacher.

Q:  If you had to choose one teacher from your books to teach your 
child, who would it be and why?  
A:  It would be Professor Lupin, because he is kind, clever, and 
gives very interesting lessons.  

Q:  Who is your favorite character?  
A:  I love, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Hagrid, and Professor Lupin.
