I'm not totally up to date with this thread, but your last statement about Harry not
seeing anything that might incriminate Snape could be turned round.
Tie it to the previous line where you fear Sevvy is in direct contact with Voldy.
Could Harry not buckling down to Occlumency compromise Snape *with Voldy*?
Does Harry know things about Snape that Sevvy would not want Voldy to know?
If he does then Occlumency protects not only Harry but Snape too. If that were
the case no wonder Snape is frustrated about Harry's attitude.
It all depends on how much Snape has told Voldy already.
It all gets delightfully convoluted, doesn't it?
