Sirius DID want to take Harry, but Hagrid told him no, that Professor
Dumbledore had told him to bring Harry to him. That's when Sirius
gave/loaned him the motorbike. AFTER Hagrid says he is taking
Harry. I think Sirius felt now that with James and Lily were dead,
betrayed by ratboy, AND without Harry his godson... wait a minute,
back the bike up... WHY would Sirius say he wouldn't need his bike
anymore?! Because James and Lily were dead? Because ratboy was a
Voldemort butt kisser? Because he had mistakenly thought Remus the
spy? Because Dumbledore would not let him have Harry? I don't think
so... I could see him giving up the bike IF he was going to have an
infant to tote around, but at that point he wasn't.
Lynnette, who thinks Snape IS a good guy, even if he is NOT a nice
guy!
