I can't help it, but whenever I think of "Snape the spy" I start
drawing parallels to the movie
Donnie Brasco. For those of you who haven't seen it, it's about an
FBI (I think) agent who
infiltrates the mafia, and those of you who *have* seen it probably
remember that DB had
to participate in some criminal activities to avoid blowing his
cover. So, if Snape ever did
the Crucio and the Imperio and all that voluntarily, I don't think he
could stop after he
became DD's spy. I feel fairly certain, though, that DD wouldn't
trust him as much as he
does if Snape hadn't changed his mind about it now and regrets it.
Um, I guess these are all pretty obvious points. ;)
Eva, who feels like she gains some insight into Snape by picturing
Johnny Depp's facial
expressions from afore-mentioned movie. :)
