Humm interesting.  

I would think that if Lupin had sex with a woman, whilst he was a 
man, the result would be human babies.  But would they be werewolf 
humans who turn at the full moon?  

If he mates with a werewolf, while he is a werewolf the result would 
be cubs.  But would they be werewolf cubs, capable of turning into a 
human?  Or would they be wolf cubs?

Perhaps the result is some terrible blend of both, like The Brundle 
Fly, in The Fly.  I expect poor Remus has to live a celibate life to 
avoid the result and what ever the result it can't be pretty.
