And of course he *didn't* do any such thing, which pretty much
indicates that he couldn't, any more than Sirius could turn himself
into a potted plant as Hannah Abbott suggested. 

Carol, who thinks that JKR has sufficiently quashed the vampire theory
and wishes we'd drop the subject
