I agree! I agree with Ms Mo Me, bboy_mn and Laura!

Annemehr:
I'm willing to suspend my judgment this one more time. I'm willing to
wait until book 6 to see if anyone actually does see to Harry, even
though I fully *expected* that in the beginning of book 5 and didn't
get it. :P If he has to learn to master his emotions, fine, but I
also want him to learn what "unconditional love" means.

Annemehr:
It's the same thing that keeps him alive, I guess -- a certain
stubbornness or refusal to give up. It upheld his sense of self-worth
during his life with the Dursleys and kept him fighting in the
Graveyard even though he "knew" he was going to die. It kept him
silently writing "I must not tell lies" into his hand but also made
him fight for the lives of his friends in the DoM. It may be partly
stamped out of him by now, but I hope not permanently, cos he's going
to need it.

Annemehr (who thinks Hermione is the one responsible for the King's
Cross sendoff, but we'll probably never know, and who's suspending
judgment on Dumbledore these days)
