Maybe Harry needed to learn that people aren't always what they seem 
to be. James wasn't always a great guy, nor was Sirius. Perhaps THIS 
insight will help to bridge the animosity between himself and Snape;  
and might possibly help him in the final showdown with V. (the hidden 
Tom Riddle within?)
