I wasn't actually thinking about Snape overhearing them then, or that you
have to hear and see things to put them in the pensieve. Harry sees Sirius and
James's expressions while Snape's attention is focused on his essay.
I was merely putting forward the point that MWPP talk about Lupin's
lycanthropy *openly* which in any case is a very dangerous thing to do.
