Thanks, Del.  I understand more clearly what you are saying and 
stand corrected.

My only objection with the theory, then, would be the issue of why 
DD (or whomever it was in charge) would DO this.  If they knew the 
necessary "ingredients," then why would they NEED to start from 
scratch w/ a baby? Why couldn't they apply the "stuff" [sorry--brain 
fade] to themselves?  So I guess I'm wondering if you can flesh out 
that part of it.
