Valky:
I agree that Sirius is/was a hypocrite, not entirely for the same 
reasons as you, but that's not why I am posting.
What I felt I needed to say is that I don't think Sirius so much 
*gave up* the chance to die for James, as I recall his plan was to 
set himself as bait for the DE's to attack.
