  As a member of the OotP Snape is in essence a member of DA, he has 
just not yet been "cordially invited", so why not advise?  I don't 
think it is that much of a far-fetched idea.  I say it could 
happen.  The man is trusted by DD, he is a part of the OotP.  Snape 
is serving a higher purpose than has yet been written out. As for 
right now Snape and DA are are on the wrong sides of the same side.  
Perhaps at some time in the near future, they will heed DD advice 
and stand united.
