Good point, but it seems rather cliche. The possession at the end of 
OotP might singinfy that the relationship between them is strong 
enough that if one's physical body dies, his soul/spirit will pass 
into the mind of the other, similiar to the way that Voldemort used 
Quirell. The finally confrontation between them may see Harry 
overcoming Voldemort <i>after</i> he's been possessed. In a sense, 
it would be Harry having to battle his own "inner demon".
