I don't have any problem with Molly asking her children which platform 
number. Women of a certain age, like Molly and I, frequently have memory 
lapses, and can't immediately recall information which we have known all 
our lives. Molly must have been stressed trying to get all those 
children and their luggage up to muggle London on time to catch the 
train, and her mind just went blank when she tried to recall which 
platform to head for. Happens to me all the time ;-)
