GEO: If it implied that Voldemort was back then I'm sure quite a 
majority in the wizard world would have tried to ignore or find some 
excuse for what happened.

GEO: The "some people" would be the Order, but a good number of 
others would have refused to believe Dumbledore's story and would 
have stuck with Fudge since his version provided more security and 
comfort.
