I loved OOtP because it was *uncomfortable*.  That is a very uncomfortable age.  It is called growing pains for a reason.  I feel JKR put that whole phase in most of our lives into words very well.

 

moonmyyst (who barely remembers going throught that phase - it was back when the dinosaurs roamed - but who's youngest son is about to go through it - YAH!!! Only one left!!!)
