Alla:
Here is the definition of assault fron on line dictionary.
<snip>
I especially love the part "or even holding up the fist at him in a
threatening or insulting manner".<
Betsy:
I... It's... You do see the madness therein, don't you? I mean,
all of Gryffindor would be in jail, and I'm talking Dean and Seamus
and Neville here. In an argument over quidditch teams.
Alla:
It is besides the point, IMO, Gryffindor boys are NOT the ones on
trial
here. :-) I am just saying that it is VERY easy to charge Snape with
asssault. Are there others who could be charged? Sure, but the
purpose of the mock trial Accio will be playing is to charge Snape
and Snape only, right?
By the way, I want to clarify something - I definitely think that
Snape HAS a problem, which can make him assault students, but I do
NOT
think that this IS the main charge Snape should be charged with.
I mean, they mention psychological harm FROM assault and battery,
but
I would charge Snape with psychological abuse first and foremost
and
THEN use of physical force.
> Betsy, who's reached her posting limit of 3. (There is still a
> limit, right?)
Alla, for whom this is post number four, but who does not remember
that posting limit was ever made official and if it is not so,
apologises .
