I would imagine that just as we have many methods to prevent evesdropping e.g. Faraday cages, etc. the wizarding world have their own means to do the same. Just as making and maintaining a room that is supposed to be unbuggable takes some time and effort (and money) I expect that it will be the same for wizards and witches. Of course in matters of security, no security is 100%. If someone wants to get in and/or listen they will find a way. For all we know there might be wizarding companies that specialize in matters of security just as we have in our muggle world.
