Hi. First post in the group, but I've been following the HBP debate.
A slow-acting potion or slow-acting venom which might change a
perfectly good live individual into an Inferus (sing.?) could account
for the death of Regulus Black and the disappearance of his body. The
bodies in the lake had to come from somewhere. Regulus is said to have
lived for three days before he was killed. That's slow-acting enough
to make him a candidate, IMO, for a new body in the lake. It could
also account for the stress in HBP on poisons that have no antidote.
If someone turned into an Inferus (?), would they be immediately
animated to go to a specific place so they could all attack together
when the time arrived?
