Who is the Half Blood Prince

I'm sorry if I am posting this wrong but here it goes.  A lot of people 
assume that because the book was published 50 years ago that the person 
that wrote it must be that old.  But has anyone thought that maybe it 
could have been done recently.  Just becuase it was published then 
doesn't mean it was written in then.  I just might not have been used 
after it got written in.  Just a thought.
