This makes a huge difference, because it means Snape's talking about
bottling poison, not an antidote. "Stopper" means cork or lid,
meaninghe could teach anyone with enough competence to make and cork death in a bottle.

The actual quote is "bottle fame, brew glory, even stopper death --" (PS 102 Can Ed) At least that is the quote in both my versions.
