Guru's turn:
Consider the situation: Lupin's giving the class a chance to interact with a
real boggart. The approved method for dealing with a boggart is to turn it into
something that can be laughed at by the student. Neville's worst fear is Snape.
In that situation, it appears to me, that Lupin had two choices. Set Snape up
for ridicule, or exclude Neville from the practical part of the lesson because
he has a fear that is "inappropriate".
