No, seriously. I haven't been able to run down the theory in 
question, but it may well be that, over and above Lily's death to 
protect him, something going on with/between his parents has imbued 
Harry with some magical quality that protects him. I just don't 
recall seeing any suggestion of this in the canon.

It's true that children who come from loving homes are better 
equipped for life than those who don't.
