Interesting, and I *think* you're the first to suggest that particular 
scenario.  It leaves room for AnySide!Snape, possibly explains why 
Dumbledore was blasted off the tower (we don't know WHAT happens if the 
AK is directed at something that is already dead), and doesn't make 
Snape a murderer.  Now I have to reread that scene...
