Credit where credit is due...I may be the first person to mention it 
here, but it is not my theory, I'm not that clever. I found in on the 
website of Red Hen.

I do like the theory, even if I am not sure I believe it. 

By the way, the verb 'blast' is definitely used to describe the effects 
of an AK hitting an inanimate object elsewhere in the series.
