Lupin *is* bad at communicating. That's cannon, I believe. But
what teaching moment was missed?

Betsy Hp:
Yes, definitely. And I think there was certainly resentment by the
OotP Occlumency lessons, and possibly some flashes of hatred in the
moment following Harry's dip into Snape's "worst memory".
However, at their very first meeting in PS/SS there hasn't really
been time for resentment and hatred to build up. Harry is
completely out of Snape's sight until he comes to Hogwarts. The
entire Order has disbanded, and Snape probably has very little to do
on his spying front. So I doubt Snape dwelled on Harry all that
much. Which is why it doesn't make sense to me that Snape hated
Harry on sight in PS/SS.
