I think that Snape knows the first part of the prophecy, the only part 
that Voldy heard. Voldy probably told most of his DEs and thinking that 
Snape would be loyal to him, Voldy told him. But I don't think that Snape 
really treats him the way he does because of the prophecy, he just wants 
to toughen them up....yeah that's right...lol, Snape has his reasons for 
acting the way he does, I guess.
