I'm afraid I can't agree. Snape acts at all times
during the potions lessons as an adult that knows what
he is doing. Whenever the situation requires medical
treatment, he either does it himself, or dispatches
the student to the hospital wing.
What do you mean by the wellbeing, by the way? If it's
the physical, medical thing, then I think they are
fully protected and Snape demonstrates as responsible
a concern as can be wished from any potions teacher.
But if you mean it in the emotional sense then yeah,
no concern whatsoever for the poor wee children. 

I fully blame Malfoy for the hyppogrif incident, BTW.
I just disagree that in this particular case Hagrid
demonstrated his superiority over Snape in any way.
