I am new to the group. It is very nice to meet all of you. I felt
myself with the need to bring up a few points about LV that these
posts stir up.

I would have to agree that is it sad as far as Tom Riddle not being
adopted. It is an unfortuante happening that occurs all over the world
every day. What I want to know, however, is from whom did Tom Riddle
find out about his past? His being sent to a muggle orphanage would
surely suggest that his mother had to give birth in a muggle hospital.
If this is true, where would he have possibly found any information
about his father? Yes, his name would have given him an idea of what
to look for but after going to Hogwarts would he have really cared
enough to look for his father? How too would he have known that his
mother was a decendent of Salazar Slytherin? I'm afraid that this is
an ongoing case of each answered question raising even more questions.
