Hi Tonks,

I've held to this theory ever since my first reading of GoF.  But 
I've never believed ESE:Lupin.  My guess was that the "one who will 
be killed" was ........Fudge!  I think that was why he was in such 
denial of Voldemort's return.  He felt the mark burn and didn't 
respond (because it couldn't possibly be - and if it was he was in 
alot of trouble - for something) and he knows he is facing a 
horrible death if Voldy did return.  That's why he is trying so hard 
in OotP to discredit DD and Harry - he really doesn't want to 
believe it's true.

Just speculation of course,

Heather - who would like to get shoveled out from under all this 
snow!
