Eggplant wrote a good list of Harry's powers/accomplishments.  I 
don't argue with any of the intent, only one small part of the 
content:

Actually, there are only 3 in the main series.  If you have a copy of 
FB, look under runespoor, and it tells that wizards know so much 
about them due to the writings of Parseltongued wizards who conversed 
with them.  

Not that this takes anything away from the points Eggplant presented, 
just adding it for the sake of completeness.
