Thanks for the canon. Definately, Parselmouths are rare. Odd,
though, that there have been only 3 in the last 1000 years at
Hogwarts (and I assume in GB), but several in Africa. No dates are
given as to the writings, but I'd assume in the last 1000 years at
least.
Are there more snakes in Africa? More magical snakes? More Dark
Wizards? Makes me wonder how Parseltongue is learned, or if it is,
barring Harry, a natural talent.
So many questions that have so little relevance to the plot as a
whole that they will probably go unanswered.
