relationship with DD. In the scenario given at that
time it would be best to turn turn to their most
trusted friends as SK.

And Yes, the whole lot of the Potter family had been
wiped out by the dark lord.

And when you say "secret within him" were you
pertaining to Harry? If so, this may be difficult
because Voldemort and Harry are somehow connected
already. And even if Harry learns additional spells by
DD or Snape to keep the dark lord from his secrets,
Voldemort still amitiously create ways to retrieve
those secrets.
