I like it, but I have a question.  Not having my books handy, I may be 
mistaken, but didn't Harry lose his wand in GoF at the Quidditch World 
Cup?  And wasn't his wand then used to send up the Death Mark in the 
sky?  Supposedly by Lucious Malfoy?

Harry certainly didn't grant a *Malfoy* permission to use his wand.  

Otherwise, I like the theory.  And if my memory is faulty, I like your 
theory even more! ;-)
