I'm wondering if Dumbledore didn't leave memories for Harry, et al, 
somewhere among his belongings so that they could witness (using a 
pensieve) some of the conversations that took place between Snape and 
Dumbledore during those last months.  This would provide proof that 
Snape was really working for DD and enable those left behind to see 
what, exactly, DD had in mind after his death.  Surely DD and Snape 
talked about this....
