Hi all, New to the list (after finishing HBP and didn't want to spoil 
other's who hadn't read it yet).

Just wanted to make one point about why Fawkes wouldn't be DD's Horcrux. The Horcrux is supposed to be some of the darkest magic ever, so dark that they must tear thier very soul. I don't think DD would do that.
