I've been wondering this for quite awhile myself. The only thing I 
could come up with is that there are probably other platforms for 
wizards. Ex: platform 3 2/3 for wizarding blackpool or somesuch like 
that and Mrs Wealey having her hands and head full with all those 
children was just being absent minded, kinda like how you'll walk into 
your kitchen to get a drink and can't remember what you were doing
