Sorry I didn't read your very good theory on Dumbledore's possible
death before my last post - the inferi idea is intriguing. The 'Yes
and no' is a little confusing to me, also. He's responding to Draco's
previous statement: 'We decided to put the Dark Mark over the Tower
and get you to hurry up here, to see who'd been killed,' said Malfoy.
'And it worked!'
Dumbledore says yes and no to this. Maybe, 'YES, you got me to come
up here, but NO, *it didn't work*.' So something has gone wrong in
Draco's plan, of which he is unaware. (And right now, so am I!) What
could be the loophole, the flaw in this scene? There must be one
somewhere.
