Ooops, sorry I hit the "send" button by mistake!

Anyway, In "the Order of the Phoenix", I believe it was chapter 
37 "The Lost Prophesy", DD says to Harry "I trust Severus Snape". 
In "the Half-Blood Prince" Snape boasts to Bellatrix and 
Narcissa: "Dumbledore trusts Severus Snape". Not only does it sound 
like quote from the conversation he didn't partake, but why on earth 
does he call himself in the third person?
